it interferes with removable-drives, USB &
hard-drive performance. slowed search/index speeds.

SP1 doesn't seem to work well with my hardware setup
so all important security updates in and around SP1
to this date have been installed. the worst update
to date was the Nvidia driver. it slowed down usb
devices, searches, desktop loading and all around
performance. amd dc optimizer, however
raised the 3dmark03 score from 8572 to 8643
before you buy a PS2 mouse or do any *.sys tweaks,
clean the bottom of your optical mouse. its probably
performing sloppy and slow because its dirty
