can't debate,
the only thing that works is F8
IE7-32 is so much better after the
updates but IE7-64 is still useless
since flash & java are still 32bit.
Even the forced drivers and all the
other apps seem much more stable.
had to unplug all peripherals, logon
normally & close all my other apps or
windows update would fail-crash hard.
update also re-enabled firewall. had
some strange reboots where I lost my
SATA C drive too. after a few fresh
restarts, uninstall of AVG and opera
9.24 it seems more stable now. 9.5b
opera seems like the way to go for x64
though the speak option seems to not
work. i'm testing avast for now.
we also installed KB940199
noted from start64
on the final clean reboot we created
a standard profile with limited rights.
this worked well against viruses on XP.
